GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's a good school. They are very serious about education and well being of their students. Good teachers that teach well and are understanding.

Umatilla High School is a small, yet powerful school with far more opportunities than most would expect from a school our size. The environment is one that is filled with generosity and hard work. At the same time, it is a relatively calm and layed-back environment, making the learning all the more easier. While the culture may not be as present as years past, and school spirit may be lower than some, the staff and all who are involved make high school a time to remember.

It's not the best because a lot of people like to judge how immature people are, and it's not the best..

My student was able to earn college credits and high school credits at UHS and it was so helpful when he went to college. It was all paid for. They have an amazing robotics program and dedicated teachers. We love UHS

As an outsider, I see that the school is now offering a class to teach students the basic carpenter trades that they will use for either a profession or for experience learned to apply in their own future homes. Also, I note that there is a class available to teach students who are Spanish speakers,...

Though the teachers are generally pretty good, the administration does not work well with it's students. Clubs and individuals know now to count on them. There is also a lot of discrimination against people from low socioeconomic backgrounds and Hispanic families. Abuse of power is an issue too.
