GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The worst part is the lack of communication between the district and students/parents. I would like this to change.

As with many other school districts, LH has some very dedicated and caring educators. Academics is stressed, while sports status takes high priority. Overall education is satisfactory.

I graduated from Laurel Highlands in 2021, and my sibling is currently enrolled in high school here. I was involved in multiple sports and different clubs throughout my high school career.

Went there from 1972-75. It was ok.Of course it was a different time, and people weren't so PC. Thank God.

Students are not treated equally. They care more about the appearance of the building than the education the students are receiving.

As a parent, I am very pleased with the caring nature of the teachers and the quality of instruction provided.

The teachers have always responded both professionally and in a timely manner when I have had a question. They also do not overload the student with homework. Now that they are remodeling, any other issues that I had with the district are beginning to disappear.
