GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think that Curtis Senior High School overall has been a decent school, but the school lacks in their ability to help their students.

It is an amazing school and an overall great environment to be apart of. The people at Curtis senior high are truly there to help you and want you to succeed an I believe that to be a key factor for successful students and people.

While we did run into cliquish/bullying issues in the younger schools (Drum Intermediate), we didn't see any issues with our high school son who is a little socially awkward. Academics seem rigorous and athletics are smooth...

Investment by the city. The teachers and curriculum are above national standards. My child has been in the district from kindergarten and I highly recommend the district.
