I think Des Moines Christian is a great faith-based school that I would no doubt send my kids to as well, however, I believe they are way more interested in appearances than just being a school for God. A lot of it goes into pleasing the donors which makes sense because they have built a lot of our school for us.

I moved to Des Moines Christian school halfway through my sophomore year. When I got there everyone accepted me and I felt like I had a personal connection with my teacher and classmates right away. My grades overall became way better because I was able to learn more from these teachers and if I struggled they were patient with me. One thing I'd say that could change is some of the higher up staff members wanting to become a lot bigger. Once you become such a big school you lose the personal connections with everyone.

Des Moines Christian School is a great place. Some of the teachers are not that great but at least they try. The administration is not very good but i make it through the day.

This is a great school, everyone is great including the teachers, the teachers really try to get to know you and help you. The teachers make learning fun for the most part and don’t teach you lies or stuff that kids should not know.

Don't go to this school unless you actually know what you're getting into. EVERYONE will seem nice the first time you make a visit, but during the school year everyone gets put in their own places. Athletics, academics and faith infused throughout the school makes this an outstanding school. Test scores are impressive. My kids have gone on to excel in their collegiate studies and we are grateful to Des Moines Christian for equipping them well.
