Valencia has its goods and bads. Some teachers are absolutely phenomenal, whereas others have their ego sky high and seemingly find pleasure in making their students absolutely miserable. The diversity was nice, I didn't feel like I stuck out as part of an ethnic minority.

I like Valencia High School because it has offered me many different opportunities to prepare for my future and succeed in my classes.

Overall, I enjoyed my high school experience at Valencia High School. The campus was well maintained, had good security and decent administration, and did carry a lot of school spirit. Compared to other high schools in the district, Valencia was a more connected student body, with less extreme cliques. There was a group for everybody on campus, and there were many clubs to be apart of. Sports were good, not amazing.

We had the worst experience at VHS. There are a few great teachers, but most were awful. Thankfully Pete Getz is no longer the principal there. Maybe now, things will get better. My daughter recently graduated from VHS. We moved to the area specifically because of the "great" schools. Don't be fooled. The schools are not great--they are slightly above average but far from great, but VHS is considerably below average despite what test scores may indicate. Students who do well...
