The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I don't think Fort deserves the biases people give it. I had some great teachers in English and Science specifically. Math could use some work that all the math teachers I've had don't seem to know how to teach. After COVID and coming back, things seem to be more run down. Though besides that my overall experience so far has been good. The people I've met are great and a lot of good people still.

Honestly, this school is the best high school I have ever attended. The teachers are incredibly kind and understanding. The students are kind and accepting. I love this school.

I really like how diverse the school is from having students with similar cultures to having very different cultures. Other schools in the district do not have as much diversity in the students as Fort Vancouver does and I really like. There is those really good group of teachers that are really supportive and teach very well. Although a good amount of teachers and staff were supportive toward students the majority of them were not. Some teachers would take a long time to grade certain assignments sometimes longer than what the student would have time to turn it in. I understand that teachers have other classes to grade assignments however when it takes the teachers longer to grade the assignments than what it takes the students to do them is unreasonable.
There's a fair share of not-so-nice people here. But other than that it's pretty okay. Ignoring the bad kids usually does the trick but if they don't leave you alone, the teachers are normally pretty nice and will help you out. The school accepts people of all races, cultures, genders, etc and I fee...
Your experience depends on the friends you hang out with and the classes you take. I recommend taking mostly all AP classes. Teachers are great and students around you all care about their education. At least that was my experience.
The most valuable learning I cultivated at Fort was from outside the classroom. If you let it, Fort will teach you more about the world than many high schools allow. Admittedly, it is a place with many struggling and disadvantaged kids. But there are truly good people here. Resilient and motivated s...
