GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The experience in my case for La Sierra Is that it wasn't the best because st first I didn't want to go but as soon as the first year went by I started loving it and now I've been there for 5 years and I'm hopefully going to graduate this year. What I like about this school is how everyone is treated like a family and as a team there's no she did this or he did this is everyone messed up because you guys were supposed to be a team and keep them from trouble and that's a very good learning experience for out grades especially 7-10 grade they are still learning and to have that type of mindset in the real world is a big advantage. I wouldn't change anything about this school I'm a completely different person to this day because of my school and I wouldn't want anything else I'm so appreciative.

I would want to go to another school if it had better programs and better classes to select.

This school is the best school in Tulare county because were a family we look out for each other. Its a military school so its a lot different then your average school. You actually build a relationship with teachers and peers. This school helps build structure and gives you a real world effect. No other school can prepare you for the real world then La Sierra High.

This school puts kids first, holds them to high expectations, and a model school for others to follow.

The Drill Sargent retired and was replaced with a guy with little military experience. He allows kids in leadership positions to bully other kids. Some teachers look on and laugh. Don't send your kids here.
