GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Wake Forest provides students with a variety of clubs and sports to participate in. Most teachers are very dedicated. However, some do not put adequate effort into their jobs. We have a decent amount of ap options but most aren't available to underclassman.

At Wake Forest High School, there are a wide range of classes for everyone, but there aren't a lot of honor elective classes you can take which hinders the GPA a bit. Most the staff is very kind and caring and looks out for the students.

WFHS is great for its diversity and arts programs. If you are looking to meet lots of different kinds of people in high school, this is a good choice. It's also excellent if you want to pursue theater or technical theater. It is a large public school, though, and suffers with modern safety concerns because of that.

I do not attend but from the outside looking in it seems that the school and school board are doing well and have handled the last few challenging years with caution and safe practices. I appreciate that.
