GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I first started SPA with a lot of fears about the school but it quickly went away when I started going to the classes. It has a lot of diversity and the staff are very nice. Perfect fit for any performing arts student!

The only good thing I got from SPA was my friends. I had to leave in the middle of my second year because my grades were dropping and the people around me kept depending on me to fix their problems. My mental health deteriorated fast so my parents moved me to a different school. From what I hear from my friends who still go there, it's only gotten worse since I left 2 and a half years ago.

My 6th grader absolutely loves this school. He’s transitioned into middle school seamlessly and likes his teachers and admins. He had felt unchallenged academically throughout elementary school but has felt very challenged in every class this year and has risen to the challenges and high expectation...

COCOSPA is an amazing little school. I love the UC college-prep curriculum, fantastic arts program (of course), and all the activities and spirit. My son feels at home there, safe and accepted. And I am so proud to see him growing into a respectful and engaged person who seems to genuinely like scho...

This school has had some of the most professional arts teachers on staff since inception (IMHO students pursuing arts need to learn professionalism early), and also takes academics seriously. Like every other school it has struggled since the pandemic to hold onto staff. It's current curriculum is N...

It is so bad, even one of the original founding administrators jumped ship to return to a public high school. Here is a simple list as to why you should not consider this school: 1) Academics are not emphasized: The learning program used is designed for "Home Schooling" or self-paced learning. This...
