Northgate High School was a good place to get a start in life. It made resources accessible for getting involved and contributing. There were plenty of options to take advanced classes that were very interesting. A unique quality about Northgate is that most teachers are pretty good educators ( along with the inevitable few who were not). However, for those looking to get ahead in college credit, it is important to note as of 2024, Northgate had a 6 AP classes limit.

Northgate overall is a great school for most people, but it has downsides. Northgate's teachers are not the best, but a few are great. Most teachers assign pointless busy work, along with many other projects, which Is a downside. The campus has no windows in any classrooms, and 90% of the school is concrete.

I really wish the teachers were more aware of student behavior on campus. Bullying and harassment are huge on campus, and the faculty believes that it can be stopped by implementing behavioral programs and forcing us to go to assemblies, but in my honest opinion, it just makes it worse.

Excellent school! We transferred from a local private high school and the education and opportunities students have at Northgate FAR outweigh what the private school offered.

Terrible! Schools has a HUGE drug problem as well as a vaping problem. They allow bully’s to continually make other students lives miserable and turn a blind eye as the principle is more worried about his reputation.
