GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience with the school itself has been positive. I have found my guidance counselor and a select few teachers very helpful in the college application process. The best part of my experience so far has been "Black and White Night." The three nights are very inclusive of all grades and a fun way to show school spirit. While touring incoming freshman this summer, I encouraged them to get involved in the coming school year.

Educational penitentiary. To much work too, You can get slammed with 3 projects at once because there is zero coordination between teachers that teach separate subjects. The bathroom pass for each class conveys a moral dilemma - "do I stay out longer and pass more time? or should I go back so someone else can escape for a few minutes and stretch their legs" and For no reason other than trying to keep us in the classroom there isn't a middle-ground between 1-2 people going at a time or the entire class marching towards the bathroom and just waiting around awkwardly while some classmates use it. people can't just go as they please and be treated like adults here and don't try to blame that on us either. DO NOT EAT THE LUNCHES almost EVERYTHING contains soy ( and therefore Estrogen ) which isn't bad in small amounts but will of course add up and when I say EVERYTHING I mean it. If your stuck here the best thing you can do I make sure you bring your phone and airpods and patience.

I was an avid lover of the fine arts while attending Tennent. While there were many opportunities to pursue my love of music and theater, these clubs were never financially sponsored by the school. We were constantly doing fundraisers so we could even pull off musicals and concerts.

The school is middling to good. The good teachers are extraordinary, and the bad teachers are abysmal and occasionally abusive. One teacher just recently bragged to his class that even though he is not supposed to have food in his class, he still allows and encourages it, and also bragged about expo...
