GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I spent my four high school years in a place that valued sports over the arts and cleanliness and readiness of its students. While my advisors did what they could to get me prepared for college, most things were lackluster at best. I was unaware of how to apply for aid smoothly, not always with a quick response, as well as struggling to find fitting scholarships to apply for.

I met a lot of really good people there, and the teachers I had personally were some of the most positive adults in my life. But it also always felt like this hierarchy. The same people got everything, no one else really had an opportunity if you weren't with the pep squad group. It just made things harder when trying to achieve things, because you knew early on who would get what. It was discouraging, and I think that's what I would like to see changed. It should feel more open to everyone rather than a select few.

This school gets a bad rap because of location, but it is excellent! Teachers pour into their students and everyone cares so much for these kids!

I'm very impressed with the teachers & faculty at WRHS, they are very proactive in helping my child succeed. My child brings home a progress report every 3 weeks (in addition to Infinite Campus), & any time I have a question, I get a quick response from the school. Tutoring is offered before & after...
