GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The Administration at this are not professional. They care way more about the pay check and their own image, than the well being of the students. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

Shepaug Valley School has helped me to grow as a person, academically and as an athlete. I started MS (6th grade) here and was introduced to so many different areas. I joined the musicals, played field hockey, swam, cheerleading, softball, track, managed the ice hockey team and student council. Shepaug was perfect for me. It had small class sizes (I had 65-70 in each year), the teachers cared and knew us all by name. I am glad I attended Shepaug.

I loved how supportive the Shepaug Vally School community is and how whenever you need help there is someone there for you.
