Best school in all of D.C. I have been teaching for 69 years and this is my favorite school that I have ever taught at. The graduating class this year especially is the best class in all of D.C.

Teachers yell at the kids and this not good at all The Principal should have a word with the teacher who yells or may intervene in other ways. This will affects kids mental and emotional behavior.

Administration does not care about parents or student. They do not compromise in any kind of way. I have seen a parent cry while they were acting like they were doing her a favor.

My experience with the Shaw campus community has been a roller coaster. My sixth grade year is vaguely remembered by now, and my seventh grade year can just be defined as one word: confusing. Good School but there isn't enough coverage for the number of kids in the class rooms. There are many students in classes that need special attention well beyond normal and the school is not equipped to deal with them. There is not enough coverage in the open restrooms and monitoring these restrooms...
