Rumsey has been a great place for me to work. It has provided me with the foundation for my career, gave me multiple chances at advancing, and even helped pay for my advanced degree. There hasn't been a day here where I didn't feel supported. The school culture has changed for the better over the past 4 years, as the Director of Admissions has done a better job vetting prospective/current students.

Boarding life was terrible here. There were kids that did terrible things without having consequences. On the weekends there were few option and things to do and the options were the same every time. A lot of kids here were harassing. Most kids that did terrible things that I don't even want to mention were not kicked out from the school because their parents were rich and made donations to the school. The food was also terrible and boarding life extremely boring.

This school had its ups and downs, I've met amazing and not so amazing people. The people I've met who were my friends are amazing people, and I learned a lot from them. But people here were also homophobic, transphobic, ableist, racist, and sexist, and the school did nothing about it. People here were called slurs, and there were no repercussions for their actions. People were bullied and harassed in many ways here. I wish everyone who goes here a good luck. From, -Anonymous

We love Rumsey Hall School! The school is engaging for all ages - inside and outside of the classroom, on the playing field or on the stage. There are so many amazing opportunities and amazing faculty and staff.

My daughter just finished her pre-k year and had an amazing experience. Her teachers were wonderful and she made terrific friends. They utilize the 23-acre campus extensively and she can't wait for the new year to begin!

Rumsey is a mediocre school for mediocre to poor students with a lot of money to waste/ privilege. Many new families joined the lower school this year in the pandemic shift and 90%+ were extremely disappointed in the academic standards, even when comparing to overcrowded public schools.
