GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Waterloo High School is an average school, there is nothing too special about it. One thing that is very upsetting is the lack of AP classes, we only have 3 and it feels like a downgrade.

I liked how involved teachers get with students but believe administration could be more involved in finding long-term solutions to problems. The school also provides students with many resources to help them find what they love and who shares their passion.

The overall experience of attending Waterloo High School was average. The school was very nice and all the teachers were great and helpful. It was not crazy spectacular but it also was not the worst place to attend. Everyone seemed to get along and it was an overall okay high school experience.

I am an education major and hope to teach at WHS to...
