I enjoyed the school. I think it helped prepare me for college. I greatly enjoyed the fact that we earned our associates degree at the same time as our high school degree.

I love attending this school because of the great collegiate opportunities that are offered and the relationships that were built within the years I attended this school. However, it is more focused on academics and there are no sports or a lot of activities. At the end of the day, I am rewarded with my high school diploma, associate degree, and an opportunity to get a CCMA license.

I've been at Global since my freshman year and to say I've been busy is an understatement. Global is an early college school which means you get your associate's when you graduate. Thats a blessing, but to achieve that you have to continue to study and work hard. Our unofficial motto is "you don't sleep", it's very accurate you are pushed to the limit of success. At the end it's worth it, the experience, the knowledge, and our college degree.

The curriculum here is a bit more rigorous than a typical Texas public high school (which, sadly, is not saying much). The school is very invested in online teaching tools. Unfortunately, those are frequently buggy and unreliable--for example, its core application, a program called "Canvas" was down...

Global HS is a great campus. There is a lot of respect for the students, and the students respect the staff. It has a very family feel. 95% of the senior class typically graduates with an Associate Degree has they graduate high school.

Great school for Math and Sciences. But if you are looking for liberal arts, music or sports, it will not help your kid. In other words, if you are looking for a career, this is the place to start your education.

My daughter loved it (in the beginning), but now hates it. If your student doesn't simply adore math and science imo they will struggle. Her grades are good, but she longs for the arts, theater, and better English classes. She feels like the focus is just robotics, technology, and math at the expens...
