GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really have had a good experience at Wellston. I came from a very big town/school system, so moving to Wellston was different. Although being able to know everybody in your school is great. Wellston has gave me the greatest opportunity to get prepared for college. I have been able to take many college classes through concurrent enrollment. I will likely already be a sophomore, almost a junior by the time I actually start college. This school has taught me so much, and it is such a loving community.

We dont offer as many after school opportunities as a lot of public schools. It could be a lot better, but what we do have is okay.

There are cameras... but who knows if they are actually used. We see drug dogs come 1-2 times a semester. There is smoking and drugs and drinking but they usually don't get caught. There are few fights.

Frankly, faculty in this school, will not do their jobs. All students end up suffering because of their laziness.
