GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the opportunity I received at West Carrollton to further my education at Miami valley career technology center

West Carrollton was a great school. It can be dysfunctional at times but it was all through love and we pushed through it and graduated as one in the end making it a huge family. The teachers and staff cared deeply for the students and I am forever grateful for them for that.

Most teachers are good but some teachers there shouldn't be teachers. When you use YouTube to teach your students then don't help them with questions because the teacher is just sitting in the back or there phone. The topic tought are on par I would say. Barely any college opportunity in house since no one can pass an accuplacer but ccp at a community college is an option. Administration is crappy. Four office's and barely anyone knows what they're doing or not paying attention to you on purpose. I could get better service from a door mat kind of situation. Student life is good but could be better do to some segregation of classes. All in all 3/5 stars

West Carrolton has an open enrollment policy with no behavior plans in place. Often students are expelled from other schools and then admitted to West Carrollton. As a teacher, it is one of the most stressful school environments to work in. West Carrollton's behavior is equal, if not worse, than Day...

I am a parent of two West Carrollton students, a recent graduate and a current senior. My children have received a top notch education. I have found that if the parent is involved the teachers and administration will go out of their way to assist a student. The school has as much to offer as the stu...

I am on this website because I am disappointed in West Carrollton's standards. The teachers are kind yet some do not put their best effort towards teaching. Helping students personally with a problem is not good at all they address the class and leave out details. Not the entire staff is bad but a g...

As a recent graduate and transfer student from a different state I can say with assurance that West Carrollton Senior High School is a good school and one of the best choices in the Dayton area. As far as public schools go Ohio is not the best--that is what it is--in the case of WCHS it's improving....
