GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my school was very nice. It had a lot of kind teachers and offered many academic options. I met some of my best friends there.

Bad school. Students are just rude and disrespectful to everyone especially the new students. There's bullying but it's watched and prevented but not much. The councilors receptionist are rude and old ladies who don't like their jobs, teachers are just terrible and unbearable. Discrimination and hate is everywhere . This school sucks. PERIOD!!!!

Some of the best experiences I've had at Lakota West have come from interactions with my teachers. Through my years at Lakota West, I have scarcely encountered a bad teacher. I do mainly take AP and honors level classes though and have heard complaints from some of the main level teachers. The worst part would be the school food. While not terrible, the food is not great and doesn't have the most nutritious and protein-filled options that would be nice to be seen changed.

It’s been a very hectic year but once again Lakota Local has persevered and supported the students in every way. Lakota West High offers so much for the students academically and in way of clubs and athletics! Parents and boosters host many fundraisers for the school district. Liberty Township and W...

This school spends too much money and is lead by a whole brainless community of stay at home moms who help led the bullying. They spend way more per child on education and punish the parents when they don't get more money through levies. Constant fundraisers with guilt and shame campaigns. An exampl...

Overall very good high school. Lots of offerings. Plenty of AP and Honors classes to challenge kids. Communication is excellent. The administration has done an OUTSTANDING job given the mediocre funding support from the community.
