GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved Rustin from the moment I walked in as a freshman in 2020 and the teachers were very good at helping you with assignments when you asked. I am going into my Senior year at Rustin and I can't wait.

Rustin is a good school overall. The teachers are nice and most of the students are friendly. The biggest problems with it though would be lack of interactivity amongst students, along with administration changing rules for their wish, not the student's wish or benefit.

I think Rustin is very well involved with the community and respects their students and staff very well. We have cops on campus so it feels very safe to be there. What I would want to change is probably some of the staff, not everyone is very supportive and friendly.

This school is a bigger stentson middle school. Same administrators and same issues. An awful school.

As a student there, i enjoyed it there. Comparatively better than schools in the area. The teachers are generally good. Its really big and has tons of fields for sports. there are a lot of clubs. nothing too out of the ordinary all i can say it was a content experience. I had an IEP, and i would say...

Excellent! I had two students graduate from Rustin and both went on to good colleges (one even got a full scholarship). Found class sizes were good, access to resources was good, teachers were engaged, and students all seemed to get along (regardless of "social standing").

My child is new to BRHS this year. Let's just say I approached my child's guidance counselor in Sept.to discuss mental health issues that were going on. Felt like I was bothering him and now 6 months later I can tell he now realizes that my concerns were real ...a little to late now.
