GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

West Hills is a good school, but I does lack in many areas. It isn't as diverse as other schools on the Salt Lake area, therefore making students as well as the teachers more ignorant towards other races. The school has given opportunities to get ahead, but dont in force the help of teachers to get the students there. Even though you're allowed to advance to a higher classes it still doesn't provide as many and encouraging classes and support as I've seen in Granite school district. West Hills is a decent school, I just see it as another place that will take me to somewhere I want to be. Personally I don't proudly say I attend/attended it nor will I chose to return if I had a choice.

Teachers work hard in class they make it a friendly learning enviroment, but it does become difficult to get the help directly needed from them after or before school.

The school doesn't do anything to accomodate students who have needs such as dyslexia. A lot of the students are treat eachother very poorly and fights break out very frequently. Two fights happened just today even. Theres also a lot of racist students, like a student who said the n-word and then go...
