High turnover rate of teachers. The Core Knowledge program is great. Reading and math have strong programs. Unfortunately administration is very poor, which is often the cause of why so many teachers leave. The students are wonderful. The academics are good. The teachers are doing the best they can considering the poor administration.

In my school, there is an event called winterim. WInterim is a program in our school that lets us choose from a list of the classes that are offered to us. This program only lasts 3 weeks but it's a lot of fun. My school created this program because they want us to experience how when we grow older we're going to have to pick our own classes that we choose from.

In my school, the health of the school is not as bad, but still pretty unhealthy. In my school they some times serve us cold food, and some times warm food. I think this is affecting the students in the school because most students complain about the lunches and the majority of them bring home lunches. Sometimes lunch in my school is not that much to be excited about than other public schools.

I now have 3 kids enrolled at this school with my oldest in 6th Grade. I love that they split them up into math and reading by level. My daughter is taking math courses at least 3 grade levels above where she would be otherwise.Kids have homework every night which is a good thing for them to practic...

I love this school and how much it has helped my son! It's clear that the teachers are committed to meeting the needs of every individual. Classes aren't small, but there is an assistant teacher in every classroom, so kids get the individual help they need. My son has grown by leaps and bounds since...
