GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

West Windsor Plainsboro High School South is a very academically strong school and it also has a wide variety of clubs and extracurriculars to participate in. I personally played soccer and basketball and can say that it was generally a positive experience.

I like that there is a lot of healthy competition and that all the students are willing to help and support each other.

Although it was a great school to be going to, the curriculum was very intense and vigorous, which means that expectations are set high and it is difficult to have a social life. However, it prepares you very well for AP tests and most importantly, college.

I joined South at the start of my junior year. Everyone was so welcoming, especially the students. I was amazed at the top class quality of teaching. However, what stood out to me the most was the amount of extracurricular activities this school has to offer. You’ll find a club for ANY special inter...
