GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Westfield High School has a large variety of classes, which allows students to explore a variety of fields. The variety of classes offered is one of the best things about Westfield High School, along with some outstanding teachers. I have yet to meet a teacher I don't like at this school, although many other students may disagree. Many teachers are very supportive and helpful. It's really what the students do to help themselves learn and their outlook that impacts their view of the teacher and class, in my opinion. One thing I would like to see change at Westfield High School is talking about drugs and alcohol issues. Although it is covered well in health classes, I think we should talk about it more because of how big of an issue it is. Drug and alcohol use isn't as big of an issue at this school compared to others, but it's an issue nonetheless. Overall, I am very grateful to attend Westfield High School. It is a great school that really cares about its students.

I loved meeting new people in my classes, making connections with the teachers, and learning new subjects in their classrooms. The sports life there was perfect and everyone was very supportive.

A very good school. The food is decent, and other times it's just edible. The sports are great, but it's a little difficult to get into. The clubs and programs is where Westfield shines, from robotics to mental health to futsal to eSports. It's a school that can cater to many interests.

We have 5 children who all attend Westfield and it is just tremendous. School leadership is responsive and care about your child’s wellbeing and their future. All of the complaints I see from other parents are nothing we experienced and couldn’t be more pleased with the entire school system. To all...

This school is great if you are neurotypical and have the personality of skim milk. I was diagnosed as autistic and they just chose not to honor that diagnosis. After fighting for an IEP since 6th grade, they finally gave me one just to tell me that the solution to my executive functioning issues wa...

Westfield High School is overpopulated and badly managed. For the 2018 year, they decided to do a huge building project to make an already too big school even bigger. The problem is they have cut off half of the parking and 90% of the ways to get there to drop off your student. The Westfield Police...

I was a quiet, reserved student in high school. I didnt make friends easily and was very reserved at first. Awesome experiences with teachers and coaches (no I was not a star player, just a manager) really helped me come out of my shell and made school much more enjoyable. I made good grades, but ci...
