With programs that encourage college and career readiness, students at Whitehall-Yearling High School are challenged to work hard and always strive for excellence. The school focuses on rigor and relevant learning by providing access to a variety of extracurriculars and enrichment programs, including College Credit Plus, Advanced Placement classes, business education, arts programs and more. Each student at Whitehall-Yearling works to develop a set of personal and academic goals, which are then aligned with specific and diverse career pathways. The groundbreaking I Know I Can, one of the nation's most extensive college access programs, works to make higher education available for hundreds of the school's students each year. Whitehall-Yearling High School students not only work hard in the classroom, but they are also active in many clubs and student-led community organizations, like Key Club, Academic Team, art club and Model United Nations. Robust athletics programs include track, basketball, gymnastics and baseball, to name a few. Parents are proud to be a part of the Whitehall-Yearling High School community and its efforts to produce students who are passionate and prepared for a lifetime of success.

I've attended WYHS all my life. There are a few things that could improve and help students have a more successful life. The biggest thing WYHS struggles with is student involvement.

I loved Whitehall yearling high school and always felt welcome. I transferred there sophomore year and it was the best decision I could have made. I not only made lots of friends but made connections with teachers that will lats a lifetime!!

The teachers and administrators at Whitehall are really helpful and supportive. They provide many resources to help students be successful, and support students in their decisions to go into a forking job as well going to college.

This school is a really good school but the teachers and the rest of the staff are a joke.
