The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Mt Greylock has been a great school experience. I have enjoyed both the social atmosphere and the academics. We have a great support system with Williams College. There is a large variety of Honors and AP Courses that help you prepare for college. I am thankful for the education that I have received at Mt Greylock and I feel that it has prepared me to go on to college both athletically and academically.

Administration in past two years was terrible- favoritism galore, punitive without reason, mammy-pamby, rely on rumors, sexist, all without attention to what really matters- learning. A terrible place to work. They burn through teachers like wildfire, it's a revolving door one year to the next. STAY CLEAR.

Williamstown Elementary School provided many special opportunities for students at the top of their class in both writing and mathematics. At Mount Gr...
This school, academic-wise, is pretty good. I am a former student, and after two years, I had to transfer to a different high school. In the two years I attended this school, there were at least two suicides. God help the students who aren't from Williamstown, because they WILL be treated differentl...
