GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I absolutely loved going to Wilmington High School. I got close with many of the teachers, and always felt comfortable and welcome. If I could change one thing, it would be to add more funding to the theatre and music departments.

The only improvement i can see that the school needs is a swimming pool. The children would benefit greatly i believe, swimming helps burn fat, it would be beneficial to their health!

I transfered to Wilmington High School as a sophomore. I came from a small private school that was very behind in their way of teaching. When I transfered i was about a year behind in all of my classes, and now I am exactly where I am suposed to be. Wilmington has done a great job catching me up.
