GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Apalachee for me was a very mediocre experience overall, however we do have a good travel program that meant a lot to me and really changed the trajectory of my life entirely. It was something I had to work for but gave me my love for travel, and taught me to not be afraid and go for things even if they are scary. If I had to pick something for Apalachee to change I would ask them to improve their science department, and have classes about environmental sciences.

During my time at AHS, I have been received with nothing but an open-minded education and staff, as they help students to understand any concept without resignations. My best experiences came from accomplishing academic feats in my schooling, which is easily achievable with the teachers and administrators at this institution.

Apalachee so far has been a great school academic wise. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their subject and assign relevant course work to better improve ones skills. The level of education provided is effective in helping me learn and reach my full potential. Futhermore many students tend to be welcoming and social at Apalachee when I first moved there not too long ago. The only complaint I have is my ap teachers taking two whole months to put my grades in and lack of explanations about the class standards and procedures. Various of clubs and opportunities are advertised well to students.

Every bad review on here is correct. If your child is a child that anything other than Caucasian expect for them to be treated differently. The principle, Jennifer Martin, had her sister-in-law working as an assistant principal at the same school. They favor any child that has a parent staff member....

This organization is a joke, there is no real support for students or parent. They only offer lip service. If your child is having issues and is not able to articulate to you; don't just blame your child. There is probably a real issue that can significantly impact their future success. The s2p pipe...

There are several factors that make a great school: supportive teachers, engaged admin, parental involvement/support & relevant curriculum. Apalachee HS has none of these. Progressive teachers pushing personal agendas, in fighting of staff & a do as I say, not as I do mentality is what your children...

I transferred here from a school in Fulton County and this brought to light the issues of our current education system. This school is severally underfunded. As a latinx alumni, it was very clear that there was is a need for inclusion at this school. I have experienced blatant racism my first day. I...
