At Winfield High School I received a good education as well as a better understanding of life and myself. The teachers at Winfield HS not only taught me the subjects of their classes but also how to work with others and how to figure out problems without getting frustrated. Although I faced a great number of challenges while attending this school I had a great support system provided by my teachers and counselors. The time that I have spent here has shaped me into the person that I am today. Winfield despite being a lower budget school is a school that teaches kids the fundamentals of education and life.

There are several students that succumb to peer pressure. There is quite a drug problem at our school, but the staff seem to not notice because the students that do drugs are the favorite students. It appears that in the last couple of years, there has been several students that have announced that they are homosexual. Whether they truly are, or want attention, I have not decided. However, students are not that afraid to be public about their sexual preferences.
