Math and Science Academy offers a great, advanced academic program, especially when it comes to math and science. MSA is rated the #1 high school in the state of Minnesota, but the teachers are not as good as they used to be, and the whole school in general is not as great as it used to be. Overall, MSA creates some of the smartest, hardworking, well-rounded kids you'll meet.

Do not attend this school. It is not what it used to be. The entire culture is toxic. Watch the last year of board meetings to witness their absolute dysfunction first hand. As with many schools, corporations and other organizations, they have thrown out (academic) excellence in favor of the soft bigotry of low expectations. As the saying goes: "Go woke, go broke"... and they are so broke they are considering merging with another school.

My child went there for 1 year and was very excited to get a more accelerate curriculum of math and science. That did not happen; huge disappointment to all of us.
