Woodland Hills Private School (WHPS), Oxnard Campus has been offering high quality elementary educational programs since 1996. It’s accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for offering an outstanding environment and an award-winning academic program. WHPS has also received the R.O.S.E. Award (Recognizing Outstanding Schools in Education) by the state government of California.
The classes are small with a low student-to-teacher ratio, while the activities emphasize an individualized approach in order to relate to each child on his or her own level. The challenging yet personalized curriculum provides an enriched academic program, the development of self-confidence and self-assurance, cooperative learning skills, community awareness and involvement, leadership skills and the application of these cognitive skills to real life situations.
WHPS offers a warm, caring place for children to grow, learn and discover. Children take part in many community service activities, developing into responsible, caring and respectful citizens. Extracurricular activities allow students to further explore their interests in team sports, academic chess, robotics, visual and performing arts, foreign languages and much more.
Highly qualified, creative and nurturing teachers are committed to providing the best education, and the tree-filled campus is located on 4.5 acres with an animal barnyard, reptile house, aviary and ranch house. The campus also includes an art and science room, computer lab, library and storytelling room.

We love WHPS. The teacher to student ratio is low. Wonderful teachers. Great academic program and flexibility - students are accommodated and taught to their abilities, be that ahead or behind. The events at the school and the fieldtrips the kids go on are exceptional. We absolutely love the campus....

People should not ever consider this school. The staff are rude and they lie right to your face. They allow and tolerate kids that bully and if you ever bring up a problem not only they don’t care but they don’t want to deal with it.
