GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Woodside High School has a great community. Teachers are very accessible and easy to communicate with. I was able to take multiple AP classes while attending.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Woodside High School and felt that I had a strong academic community to prepare me for higher education. Despite the conflicting social climate present at the school, resulting from a large socio-economic divide amongst students, I felt that there were an array of accessible resources to support students' academic success.

My daughter is a Junior at WHS. She has had wonderful, engaging, well educated teachers thus far. The principal is phenomenal- very communicative with families and has set a positive and supportive tone in the school. There are many built-in supports for struggling students. The school draws from a...

I'm a sports coach at WHS. Admittedly, I only come across a small slice of the students compared to a teacher or administrator. However, in the years I've been there, I've been able to pick up a reasonably positive vibe in not only the students I coach, but also in overheard snippets of student-to-st...
