It is a standard school. Occasionally, I feel unseen but generally it is a good high school. I can't complain much.

Yonkers high is very focused on academics rather than sports. They encourage the students to do better each year and post dates on deadlines on payments or scholarships. The teachers are always there for the kids and the guidance counselors are somewhat available but they are there when you need them most.

My experience at Yonkers High School was like no other. I have created many unforgettable memories at this school. The best part of my experience was that I got to meet so many new people with new personalities. I have made many friends. I also learned so much at this school , not only in relation to academics but also outside of the curriculum. The worst part of the experience was that there is a lot of pressure to do good in this school as the district views this school as one of the best.

Great school! I'm in the IB Diploma Program and the only downsides I can think of is they give a lot of work but work that will help you for college. However it desperately needs more funding as a minority school the state does not give much aid and as a result we sometimes have to cut corners, yet...

Yonkers high school is one of the best high schools ever known . we have teachers who care and are with us till the end of school . The teachers work hard as well as the students. the school works together as one . with band,sports,art and more we are all proud to be bulldogs.
