The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have attended William Penn for all 4 years of my high school career. Very proud to be a Bearcat!!! Diversity in all forms is part of WPSH. I am enrolled in the STEAM academy which has helped shaped my future endeavors. The teachers and staff support all students in every aspect possible. Being a Bearcat is being part of a huge family. Friday night football is an experience everyone should have, the excitement and enthusiasm that exudes from the bleachers is like no other.

I attended William Penn Sr. High School for all of my secondary education. I believe the school is one of a kind and I don't regret being a bearcat.

I started my first day at William Penn as a Junior and to be honest It was really rough. But it was more the students then the teachers and staff. The teachers as always want to see you at your best. What I would change is how the metal detector system is and also try and have more options for student. For example, trying to learn Spanish is fine but it's the only language class available. I would also like to see them refine "Bearcat Hustle".
I would say for seniors this is a good school. I graduated in 2019. They really helped me figure out what to do next in life. So thank you guys And the school lunch wasn’t bad. But is your child is in 9th or 10th grade look out because they’ll be fighting and in nothing but drama.
Honestly, just save your time and choose another school district. Once your child goes to this school or school district, he or she is enrolled into HELL.
The staff here really care about their students. We put in extra hours and really try to make a difference. I myself run a free club for students after school, and have used as many best practices to help student engagement and learning. While working here I have seen the entire furlough process hap...
I attend at this school and I really like it.. I came from York Suburban and that thing was like a nightmare. Teachers In York High are very pleasant, and lots of help to offer. Once you get to know all the school, everyone in there and earn the teachers love, you'll be FINE.
