Two gated communities with year-round activities
In the sun-drenched enclave of North Naples lies Heritage Bay, a gated communities where active living and endless social events are just par for the course. “Heritage Bay has its own full-time activities coordinator,” says Meg Titcomb, broker associate at John R. Wood Properties, Christie’s International Real Estate. “They keep the residents going, and there’s always something to do.” The community is bundled, meaning home ownership guarantees a spot on the golf course, and the lower housing prices present an accessible way into the rapidly developing North Naples area. Although many residents are seasonal, those sticking around will have access to highly rated Collier County Public Schools and growing commercial areas along Immokalee Road nearby. And with scenic views surrounding every home, Heritage Bay feels like the complete package. “It’s a beautiful place with amenities galore, and it almost feels like you’re at a botanical garden,” Titcomb says. Downtown Naples is 19 miles away.

Immediate golf course access
Golf is the name of the game in Heritage Bay. “There is no waitlist for golf,” Titcomb says. “Lots of courses in the city have multiyear waitlists, but here, you could close on a house and be golfing the next day.” The 27 holes of championship golf wind through rolling fairways, towering palm trees and glistening lakes. Three practice putting greens and an aqua driving range are available for golfers to sharpen their game. While golf is certainly a priority, it is far from the only amenity offered by Heritage Bay. Tennis, pickleball, and bocce ball are popular activities, and the resort-style pool is a great place to cool off after a fierce game on the court. Residents can lace up their hiking boots and head to the nearby Crew Wildlife and Environmental Area, which contains over 30 miles of trails crisscrossing 28,000 acres of the rugged yet scenic Florida landscape. Heritage Bay is further away from the coast than surrounding neighborhoods, but residents are still just 12 miles from the sandy shores of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park.

Community events and private celebrations
Heritage Bay has a vibrant social scene with numerous events, including specialty nights like BYOP (build your own pasta) or a summertime Friday Happy Hour. Live music and celebrations are common, especially at the Cabana, and golf tournaments are held throughout the year. Heritage Bay allows its rooms and amenities to be rented out for private events and is particularly popular for weddings.

Shop and dine inside or outside the community
Heritage Bay offers residents three different dining spots without ever having to leave the community. The main dining room serves upscale cuisines in front of scenic views and features themed nights such as Friday night buffets. For a more casual option, the grille is a great spot to enjoy lunch or happy hour. The Cabana has become a member favorite thanks to the open-air atmosphere and frequent live music. Those heading beyond the gates won’t have to travel far for shopping and dining. “When Heritage Bay first opened, you would have to drive away to get somewhere,” Titcomb says. “Now it's just exploded with restaurants, shopping and so much new construction nearby.” The Shoppes of Pebblebrook has become a hub for commercial activity, and residents can find weekly groceries and fresh produce at Publix. Across the street, NYPP New York Pizza Pasta is a family-owned local eatery that serves authentic Italian cuisine. The neighborhood is close to multiple medical facilities, including NCH Northeast.

Spanish-styled housing
The titular Heritage Bay offers a wide variety of single- and multifamily options in the year-round sunshine of Southwest Florida. Many single-family residences come with lanais and private pools surrounded by waterfront views. The architectural style draws upon Spanish and Mediterranean influences with red-tiled roofs and bright stucco exteriors. In Heritage Bay, single-family builds range between $800,000 and $1.5 million. Multifamily options are widespread and just as luxurious. Resort-style coach homes and luxury condos are the main options and come with multiple parking garages, private verandas and well-manicured front lawns. Multifamily prices range from $400,000 to $1 million. Although Southwest Florida is prone to hurricanes, Heritage Bay’s inland location provides protection from stronger storms that have hit the area.
