Commuting on I-95, by bus and train
Commuters can catch the bus at stops along Inman Avenue and Grove Avenue, or they can connect to neighboring communities by train at nearby stations in Iselin, Metuchen and Plainfield. Those driving have easy access to U.S. Highway 22, Interstate 287 and Interstate 95, connecting North Edison to Lower Manhattan. “If you need to get to New York City, it’s a quick drive depending on traffic,” says Borke. “You can get to the heart of the city in 45 minutes to an hour.” North Edison is also about 30 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport and 40 miles from beaches on the Jersey Shore.
