Changing urban neighborhood next to Lake Arlington and the Interstate 820 loop

Between the Historic Carver Heights neighborhood and Lake Arlington sits Carver Heights East, a community changing. “It’s a neighborhood that is re-establishing,” says Dennis Miller, a Realtor with Keller Williams Lonestar DFW with 20 years of experience in the area. “It’s an affordable price to buy, so people are buying over there and renovating.” While some are improving existing properties, others are building. “There’s a lot of new construction; whole streets are getting built on,” says Cooper Conger, President of NewPad Building Company and a Realtor with VIP Realty with four years of experience in the area.
