A mix of the prairie and the city
In the northern section of the West Meadowbrook neighborhood lies the Tandy Hills Natural Area, a 220-acre nature preserve that is full of wildlife indigenous to Fort Worth and untouched by developers. About 3 miles east of Fort Worth proper, this small neighborhood is a convenient place to land for anyone seeking proximity to the city's center while not giving up on natural scenery.
