Living just south of the Grand River
In Quentin Park, you can get soft serve at the local dairy store in the summer or take your sled to the namesake park in the winter. Many of this South Lansing suburb’s original residents worked just down the street in REO Town, a former automotive manufacturing center. Though Lansing’s manufacturing heyday is long past, Quentin Park residents rallied and continue to take pride in their community.

At the Country Club of Lansing, members can join social events or tee up with friends at the 18-hole course that offers a comfortable pace and is usually completed in four hours or less.

Compact streets border Quentin’s wide-open spaces
The laid-back charm of surrounding amenities continues on the streets that trace Quentin Park and extend towards Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The neighborhood is made up of Minimal Traditional cottages from the 1930s through the ‘50s, as well as stately colonial revival homes and Cape Cods with signature dormers—all under the cover of mature trees. Neighbors set out deck chairs on spacious front porches and take advantage of clean sidewalks. “Houses start around $50,000 and go up from there,” says Brian Ozbun, a Realtor with Bellabay Realty, LLC. “There are starter homes in Quentin Park, and then there’s a $1.2 million house sitting just north on Moores River Drive.” Most homes in the area remain competitively priced, with few going above $200,000.
