An active community in The Villages, north of Route 466A
The Villages is a community that people plan —sometimes for years — to move to. Many newcomers are drawn to the premier 55-plus community for its wealth of recreational options and its sunny Central Florida lifestyle. “People aren’t moving here because they have to; they move here because they want to," says James Haviland, a Realtor with Sellstate Superior Realty who sells throughout The Villages. In the Village of Hemingway, one of the neighborhoods located between Routes 466 and 466A, many of The Villages’s most popular amenities are just a quick golf cart ride away, a huge draw for residents looking to stay close to the action.
