More recreational options are in neighborhoods nearby, including Bonita, which offers an adults-only pool, fishing and remote-control boating, the nine-hole Hemingway Golf Course, and the 27-hole championship course at Havana Country Club. “If you move here and you can’t find something here that excites you, you’re from another planet,” says James Haviland, a Realtor with Sellstate Superior Realty who sells throughout The Villages, with a chuckle. “If you like to dance, if you like to golf, if you like to sit in the closet and watch TV – there’s something for you in The Villages.”

Close to Lake Sumter Landing
The bustling town square of Lake Sumter Landing, located less than 2 miles away, has walkable streets lined with specialty boutiques and a wide range of restaurants, all with ample golf cart parking.
