Bowling and live music on Southland Drive
The Tahlsound concert series brings local music to Southland Drive in the neighborhood from April to September. Originally established as an annual music festival on the Oleika Temple Great Lawn, the event grew into an ongoing series over time, attracting visitors with live bands in multiple genres, local vendors and food. For year-round fun, Southland Lanes has been a local standby for bowling since 1960. More tunes and good times await at the Rackhouse Tavern, which hosts a showcase for Kentucky acts on Friday and Saturday nights.
