"You are in the county but you are kind of removed from everything, so it is neighbors looking out for neighbors." Nearby, there is Bobby’s Café, where residents can get a classic southern dish. There is also Big Rock Quarry Park, where residents can bike or hike. At Bobby’s Café residents can get together over a plate of southern food. Blue Hill is small town living in the shadow of the big city.

While there aren’t any notable dining options in Blue Hill, there is the nearby Bobby’s Café on MacArthur Road. Known for their home-cooked southern food, menu items include the chicken fried steak sandwich and the Bobby Burger. There is a Dollar General on Highway 365, which is where residents can stop by for household needs. For additional shopping and dining, residents can visit Pleasant Ridge Town Center on Cantrell Road. The shopping center has a Fresh Market and a Chipotle.
