Welcome to Kings Meadow, a charming collection of multifamily subdivisions close to schools, major roads, commercial areas and, of course, Kings Meadow Park.

You'll find this community in an unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County, roughly referred to as West Kendall by locals. It sits due west of the intersection of main thoroughfares North Kendall Drive and Lindgren Road, which makes the area easy to commute from, especially with a ramp onto Ronald Reagan Turnpike located a couple miles down the road. You don't have to go far for day-to-day errands or dining, either. Shopping strips Kendale Lakes Plaza, Higate Square and Carter Square flank the community with big-box stores and national retailers like Lowe's, Kmart, Marshalls and Publix.

Curious about local flavor? Head over to El Rinconcito Latino Restaurant. This casual eatery is a neighborhood favorite with entrées like whole fried snapper and grilled salmon, as well as killer Cubano sandwiches. You may even want to grab an order to-go and head across the street for a nice outdoor lunch at local green space, Kings Meadow Park. With wide open lawns, shaded walking paths, basketball courts and a playground, this vibrant spot is great for enjoying the South Florida sun. It's also dog-friendly, so four-legged friends can tag along, too. Similarly, Calusa Club Estates Park sports an open multipurpose field, perfect for kicking around a soccer ball or laying out a picnic spread. Its tot lot is ideal for play dates, as well.

Several gated condominium and apartment complexes comprise Kings Meadow, the largest being Parc Vista, a condominium complex that was initially built out in the late 1980s. Overall, Kings Meadow homes typically date back to the late 1980s to the early 1990s. Prices for properties here range from $200,000 for, say, an 832-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo to $350,000 for a 1,500-square-foot corner unit condo with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. If you're looking for something somewhere in the middle, you could land a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,224-square-foot condo for $275,000 in the family-oriented community of Parc Vista. Like most condominium complexes or buildings, Parc Vista does utilize a condo association, and the allotted fees are due monthly. Architectural styles vary between complexes, but some characteristics you can expect to see are stucco siding and barrel roof tiles.

Kings Meadow students can start school just over a mile from home at Claude Pepper Elementary, rated with a B-plus on Niche. From there, they can attend the nearby Hammocks Middle before graduating from Miami Sunset Senior High, a school home to a variety of programs that allow students to pursue potential career interests alongside their general studies. Miami Sunset Senior High offers magnet programs with medical focuses in allied health services, pre-med and sports medicine. Other magnet programs include engineering, digital media and cyber security. This high school also boasts a myriad of academies, such as its distinguished academy of hospitality and tourism.

Less than 10 miles west of major employers such as West Kendall Baptist Hospital and attractions like Dadeland Mall, Kings Meadow is a convenient multifamily community within an hour's drive from the Magic city of Miami.
