When growth started to happen east of the downtown area of Naperville, Pembroke Greens was one of the first developments in the late 1960s and ‘70s. “People love that it’s within walking distance of an active downtown area. It’s a healthy walk, but it can still be done,” says Ann DeVane, a broker with John Greene Realtor. “People also like that this is not a cookie-cutter neighborhood.” By foot, walking to the heart of downtown and the Naperville Riverwalk will take a little more than a half hour.
