Suburban living and city amenities in Whitebridge
Driving around the streets of West Nashville, Whitebridge offers a suburban lifestyle with nearby amenities, canopied roads, serene hiking trails and an impressive food scene. "It's an energetic community, with incredibly convenient access to Nashville, nearby medical facilities, and retail malls,” says Julie Johnson, Realtor with HND Realty, who has 23 years of experience in the industry. “There are still a bunch of locally owned restaurants and businesses next door to major retailers. In addition to massive new homes adjacent to small, older ranch houses. It’s truly a blend of old and new,” Johnson says. It’s easy to forget that this unassuming residential neighborhood is just 6 miles away from all that downtown Nashville has to offer.
Sleek builds, small ranchers and classic Craftsman's
Whitebridge has an eclectic mix of condominiums, townhouses and single-family homes. Walking down the canopied streets, one will find warm-toned Craftsman and brick ranch-style homes sitting in rows next to each other with modest driveways alongside. Other streets boast multimillion-dollar contemporary builds with sleek lines and two-to-three-car garages. The median sales price for a single-family or townhouse ranges from $700,000 to $730,000, with median lot sizes just under a quarter of an acre. Condos can range from the upper $100,000s to the upper $300,000s, while luxury, three-story townhouses can range from the $600,000s to the mid $700,000s. Single-family homes vary significantly in price and size, starting around the $400,000s for a 912 square foot ranch to $800,000 for an updated 2,700 square foot Craftsman-style home with a welcoming front porch and hardwood floors, to up to $2.3 million for a brand-new, 5,000 square foot contemporary home with an inground pool.
