Suburban-living northwest of Tampa
For those ready to settle down in the suburbs, River Ridge provides pruned palm trees amid cul-de-sacs and a solid school district. “Many families from the north move to River Ridge. It’s a safe and family-oriented community,” says broker associate Lilibeth Romero Evans with RE/MAX Marketing Specialists and seven years of experience in the area. From the residential environment to the well-rated schools, the community also highlights Floridian nature at swamp and beachside parks.
Single-family bungalows and painted villas
River Ridge consists of winding roads of single-family houses on well-groomed, medium-sized lots decorated with shrubs and small palm trees. Many developments feature ponds in the backyards for strolls next to relaxing fountains. River Ridge Country Club, a gated community within River Ridge, offers amenities like a golf course and a clubhouse with an outdoor pool. Architectural styles include colorfully painted villas, split-levels and bungalows. “The prices are still affordable even though it’s close to New Port Richey. It’s an upcoming area with a lot of new developments,” Evans says. Sales prices range from $180,000 for a one-bedroom villa to $543,000 for a move-in ready four-bedroom house.
