Although many of the area's public schools are recently built, they perform. Niche ranks Elkhorn schools No.1 of 242 in Nebraska. The district is committed to enforcing its boundaries. Shopping and dining attractions are expanding in Elkhorn
While Elkhorn has a wide selection of national chain restaurants, its local places get a lot of attention, and for good reason. Boyd and Charlie’s, with its BBQ sandwiches, smoked meats and long-standing cozy corner location, is a favorite. Maximo’s Cantina in Old Towne Elkhorn has it all – an extensive Tex-Mex menu, breakfast (weekends only), lunch and dinner, and room both inside and out for large groups or events.
