Presidential living in Riverside

North of Riverside's Green Belt, President's Park offers a mixed suburban-commercial streetscape. The neighborhood gets its name from streets that honor past U.S. Presidents, like Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. It is also the home of one of the nation's first automotive malls, with the Riverside Auto Center comprising the northeastern portion of the neighborhood. This cluster of dealerships and mechanics is a big draw for car nuts and anyone looking to buy or sell their vehicle.

Presidential Park homes

Homes in Presidential Park are a mix of single-family houses and apartments, with some gated planned communities. Prices tend to range from $550,000 up to around $650,000. "You get a good amount of space for your money in Riverside," says Brittney Jeanson, a Realtor with Crest Sotheby's International Realty and lifelong Riverside resident. Spacious ranch-style homes sit wide on avenues and cul-de-sacs, with tall desert palms and other foliage lining the yards and sidewalks. Residents also enjoy various other housing styles and touchstones, with many dwellings built with the stucco walls of Spanish and Mediterranean styles and others bearing the muted yet functional design touches of the mid-century modern type.

The experience is good. There is a lot of aesthetics around. In certain neighborhoods everyone acts like a family and helps each other when in need.
